Cornerstone Revolutions, Inc. Introduces Library of Online Tutorials for Current and Prospective Cornerstone PowerBroker Users
September 27, 2004

Portland, OR - Cornerstone Revolutions, Inc., makers of Cornerstone PowerBroker asset management software, announced the launch today of a library of online tutorials for its current PowerBroker clients as well as for those contemplating making a purchase.

Increasingly in today's software marketplace, it's no longer enough to offer the best product at the most reasonable price. In order to gain market share in an arena where new software solutions can be purchased and downloaded daily, an increasing number of software developers are offering training options for new and current users.

But using the free, online tutorials available at the PowerBroker Web site to tap into the pool of "undecideds" is a strategy Cornerstone sees as just sound marketing.

Client Testing for Usability and Compatibility
"Cornerstone places a high value on usability," says Angela Lyles, Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone Revolutions, Inc. "We saw the online tutorials as another way to provide support to our new and existing clients. But the fact is, it's turned into a great marketing tool for prospective clients as well by giving them the opportunity to explore some of the basic features of the PowerBroker program for functionality and compatibility with their business style."

Cornerstone's online library was launched with five initial topics: an Overview of Application Tools, Learning to Download, Cloning Security Types, QuickEntry, and Reports. Plans include adding more titles to eventually cover all the features PowerBroker offers investment advisors wanting to download custodial accounts, print graphically-enhanced reports, calculate performance measurements, and manage client contact information.

"There's no downside for the existing or prospective client using these tutorials," says James Cole, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Cornerstone. "For the existing client, the tutorials address most of the questions users have when starting any new software program. For the prospective client, you don't have to commit to downloading an entire trial version of the software just to see if it's a fit for your business."

Online Tutorials Provide Multiple Learning Options
The benefits of the online learning model are already apparent to many employers seeking a flexible, cost-efficient method for training employees who may be in branch offices scattered across a city or the nation. PowerBroker's tutorials were created with MacromediaŽ FlashT software and can be accessed anytime, anywhere with an internet connection and a Flash Player, downloadable from the Cornerstone Web site.

This can only be good news for businesses lacking the deep pockets for the travel expenses that come with off-site training or the time and space required for in-house training. And it's the kind of solution Cornerstone likes to provide.

"PowerBroker software was created in response to witnessing first-hand what investment professionals experience in real-time office settings and situations," comments Lyles. "This library of tutorials is our response to recognizing the realities of running a business today."
